Role Summary

We are seeking a Quality Director who is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the overall Quality Management System (QMS) for a large-scale stadium project. The role ensures that all construction activities, materials, and processes comply with contractual specifications, regulatory standards, and international quality benchmarks. The Quality Director drives a culture of quality excellence across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
  • Establish and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities across all disciplines.
  • Approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
  • Oversee audits (internal and external) and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
  • Monitor site inspections, testing, and material approvals.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover teams to maintain quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement improvement strategies.
  • Provide quality performance reports to senior management.
  • Ensure subcontractors and suppliers comply with quality requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices across the project.
  • Lead and mentor the QA/QC team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in quality management within major construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience on large-scale or complex projects (stadium/infrastructure preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of international quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary quality teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
