Quality Engineer

About the Job:

Quality Engineering (QE-Engineer) is responsible for managing the end-to-end problem-solving process for MFG quality issues, the role ensures effective problem containment, root cause identification, corrective action implementation, and verification of effectiveness.

QE leads cross-functional problem-solving teams, monitors open quality issues, escalates delays and risks, and ensures that lessons learned are standardized and applied across relevant products and processes to prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities:

Problem Solving Process Management;

• Manage the complete lifecycle of quality problems from detection to formal closure.
• Maintain a centralized tracking system for internal, supplier, and customer quality issues.
• Classify and quality issues based on customer impact, regulatory compliance, recurrence risk, and operational impact.
• Assign problem owners and define clear responsibilities, deliverables, and target dates.
• Facilitate regular problem-solving review meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor the progress of containment actions, root cause analysis, corrective actions, effectiveness verification, and final validation results.
• Escalate overdue actions, recurring problems, and high-risk issues to the relevant management level.
• Ensure that quality problems are not solved without sufficient evidence and effectiveness validation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in: Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing quality, process quality, customer quality, and continuous improvement.
• Six Sigma background is preferred. (Yellow Belt or Green Belt).
• IATF 16949 Background is preferred.
