Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality ,Technical support & IMS Engineer Position

Report to: Quality Manager

JOB DECSRIPTION:

• Monitor in-process and final product quality to ensure compliance according to the defined quality plan.

• Ensure that effective permanent corrective actions are taken in a timely manner for internal and external rejections.

• Analyze quality performance data and develop actions to be taken to improve performance.

• Participate in the continuous improvement activities.

• Write technical reports and prepare graphs and charts to document experimental results.

• Conduct process audits.

• Product defects analysis.

• Verification of the capability of online measurement equipment.

• Supervise all quality control activities.

• Provide the required technical support for the processors & glass makers.

• Provide the required audits for the processors & glass makers.

• Draft, follow-up, implement and improve the Integrated Management System. • Issue and supervise the Integrated Management System audit plan.

• Receive third party audits.

• Follow up and ensure the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.

• Coordinate and drive the continuous improvement program.

• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company document control system. • To provide support and resource for local WCM activities whilst implementing global projects, local projects, Act as project/pillar sponsor, leader, member.

• Compliance to statutory/legal Occupational Health, Environment & Safety company policies and procedures. • Compliance with the company QMS, Quality Control.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Relevant specialization.

• 1- 3 years quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Training in Product Compliance , Claim Management & QMS.

• Minimum three years working experience in development of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 systems.

• Proven track record of delivering improvement to EHS and quality programs

• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing improvement tools will be an advantage.

• Practical application of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

• Knowledge of Statistical software packages is an advantage, i.e. Minitab, JMP, and SPSS.

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent presentation and computer skills with • Good proficiency in English.
