Key Activities
Quality Inspection and Testing
- Inspection activities on received materials against Specification/Standard and raise reject to Quality Manager for action in case of mismatch for material release through the approval and concession forms and processes
- Conduct first off inspection after pilot run to ensure it matches with Specification and Standard and approve production of subsequent runs
- Identify and resolve issues with pilot product to re-run first off production pilot for second inspection to ensure issue resolution within the production line
- Conduct random inspections on products during production to ensure availability of operator control system, verify products against Specification, and reject and identify product mismatches to production foreman
- Implement superficial inspections to match final products against Specification prior to approving moving tags from production line to the relevant warehouse
Re-inspect reworked products to ensure they match Specification and validate scrapped products disposal to ensure tracking of material
Warranty Cases
- Participate in customer site visits to address customer raised warranty cases and identify root causes on site or within AIC grounds upon product delivery
- Prepare warranty cases analysis reports and communicate it to ensure AIC service team addresses the customers complaints
- Ensure disassembled products received are inspected with root causes identified, and report to production manager to conclude the resolution of warranty cases
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Following all relevant Quality's policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
- Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within AIC
Safety, Health and Environment
- Comply with all relevant safety, health and environment management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- Participate in incident and accident investigations as required in line with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls
- Report on changes within AIC that impact relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls
