Overview
Responsible for inspecting road construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, approved drawings, and client requirements.
Your role
- Inspect earthworks, subgrade, sub-base, asphalt paving, drainage, and related road works.
- Verify materials and workmanship meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Witness site inspections and testing activities.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Raise and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, and testing laboratories.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
Requirements
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of QA/QC inspection experience in road/highway projects.
- Knowledge of AASHTO, ASTM, and road construction standards.
- Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- GCC/Saudi Arabia road project experience.
- Familiarity with quality documentation and inspection processes.
