Overview
Carry out visual and dimentisonal inspection of drilling service tools as per quality plan and release the inspection reports, initiate NCR for non compliance, follow up until RCA, correction and corrective actions are completed. Monitor, verify and witness the ongoing processes for compliance. Co-ordinate with 3r party and ensure the NDE processes are in complaice to weatherford requirements and review and endorse the certifications. Ensure TMDE are calibrated in accordance with respective specification and up to date the system. Perticipate in the investigation process, emsure true root causes identified and corrective actions established and implemented
Responsibilities
Study BOM, Drawing and specification to prepare inspection plan.
Perform visual, dimensional, GD & T inspection and testing as per defined inspection plan.
Identify and control any non-conformance product.
Identify inspection and test status at various stages of inspection function.
Prepare and review inspection and test report.
Understand the NDT requirements for MPI, LPI, UT and RT
Coordinate and monitor the NDT activities by the supplier.
Prepare inspection rejection and NCR report.
Perform receiving, In-process and final inspections as per quality plan.
Verify and witness ongoing processes & testing to ensure the compliance to specifications.
Prepare and compile all inspection task reports as per requirements.
TMDE Monitor and Control.
Any other duties that are assigned by Quality Engineer as and when it is required.
Qualifications
Diploma in mechanical engineering or Degree with 5 years experience, NDE Level-II in VT, MT, PT and UT, working experience and knowledge of ISO 9001-2015, API Q1 or Q2 along with any two API-6A, API-16A, API-16C, API-5CT,API-7-1 specifications.
Must have hands on experience of various measuring and testing tools for dimensional inspection, GD & T knowledge, API Q1/Q2 and NDE-PT, MT.
