Quality Manager – Job DescriptionJob Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement across all operational processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality System Management:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Auditing and Compliance:
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and overseeing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques to identify inefficiencies and improve operational performance.
  • Inspection and Quality Control:
  • Establish testing procedures and ensure products meet defined quality, safety, and reliability standards.
  • Leadership and Training:
  • Lead quality initiatives, train employees on quality standards and methodologies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and present quality metrics and insights to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar QA/QC role.
  • Standards Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of relevant standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or ISO 13485.
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement statistical tools for quality improvement.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management tools and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM).
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, food production, or technology.
