Job Description

Job Summary: Supports the Quality Systems Manager with compliance by ensuring company policies, processes and standards are effectively implemented. Gathers and analyzes quality systems related data. Helps with administration of the internal audit schedule. Participates in audits (i.e., manufacturing, process, system, product, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in audits, helps with administration of audit plans/schedules, documents, and audit records; gathers and analyzes information related to the audit program and produces reports. Collects data to support Quality Systems communication and compliance.
  • Supports the key business processes documentation and maintenance.
  • Engages in preparation and analysis for business reviews (including but not only customer satisfaction), communicates and maintains follow-up actions.
  • Supports collection and/or calculation of input metrics related to the quality system, scorecards, nonconformances, etc.
  • Helps maintain the quality system documents prescribing the quality management system, the documented procedures or reference to them, and a description of the interactions between the processes of the management system.
  • Supports entry of documentation and identifies problems needing addressed, including follow up on overdue approvals, reviews, ownership changes, etc.
  • Provides information as necessary to external auditors or certification bodies, complying with content, timing, and format requirements.
  • Delivers/Facilitates specific quality systems related education, e.g., application user training, internal auditor training, core quality tools or problem-solving training.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Competencies: Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions. Interpersonal savvy - Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. Quality Process Management - Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure quality of products, processes and services.
  • Project Schedule Management - Manages the planned schedule using the recommended schedule management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline. Being resilient - Rebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations. Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.
  • Data Communication and Visualization - Constructs a tale of the business problem, root cause, solution options, and opportunities through illustrating data visually, including reports and dashboards. Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization. Quality 4.0 - Leverages cloud-based systems and digitization to drive improved quality outcomes. Knowledge and application of Quality 4.0 (Q4.0) and digitization of quality management. Examples of Q4.0 are cloud native software applications, digital twin, simulation, adaptive intelligence and connected systems.
