Quantitative Developer

Quant / trading systems engineer required for a growing trading desk in the UAE.

Our client is establishing a new in-house quant function to automate manual trading strategies. The primary focus for this role is practical programming and coding for execution.

The hire will act as a data Trading Systems Engineer, Quant/Data Engineer, Algo / Quant Developer.

Proficiency in Java and C++ is required to write code and perform quant analysis on market data for entry and exit strategies. The role will be hybrid in nature in the first phase before splitting into specialized individual roles.

The role will combine data engineering and trading systems development, including building market data pipelines, back testing infrastructure, trading analytics, and selected components of automated execution tools under strict model governance, pre-trade risk controls, release management, and kill-switch procedures.
