To support the cost management, estimation, and financial control of construction and engineering projects. The Quantity Surveyor Officer ensures accurate measurement, valuation, and documentation of all work carried out, contributing to effective budgeting, cost control, and contract administration, Calculating measures submission billings & Claims.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation: Prepare and review cost estimates, quantities, and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
Measurement & Valuation: Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements. Validate contractor claims.
BOQ Preparation: Assist in preparing and updating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on design and scope changes.
Cost Control: Monitor and track project costs to ensure alignment with budget forecasts.
Contract Administration: Support contract preparation, variations, and interim payment certifications.
Tender Support: Assist in preparing tender documents, bid analysis, and subcontractor evaluations.
Reporting: Maintain cost records and prepare regular financial reports for management.
Collaboration: Coordinate with site teams, procurement, and consultants for timely and accurate cost data.
