Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Abu Dhabi. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conduct cost estimations, and support tendering and bidding processes. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project budgets, tracking variations, preparing interim payment applications, and updating cost reports. The role involves close coordination with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost planning and timely financial decisions. The Quantity Surveyor will also help identify cost risks and opportunities, contribute to value engineering, and ensure compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong cost control and cost management skills, with experience in monitoring budgets and managing project expenditures.
  • Proficiency in BOQ preparation, measurement, and quantity take-offs in line with relevant standards and project specifications.
  • Ability in cost planning and forecasting to support project decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Competence in cost reporting, including preparation of financial summaries, variance reports, and payment certificates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
  • Experience in the construction sector, preferably with stone, GRC/GRP, or architectural finishes in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
  • Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Abu Dhabi and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
