. BIM Integration & Management
- Collaborate with BIM Managers, Designers, and Engineers to maintain accurate cost information in BIM models.
- Develop 5D BIM models (integrating cost data with 3D models).
- Extract quantities, measurements, and material take-offs directly from BIM models.
- Ensure BIM data compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
2. Cost Planning & Estimation
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates, BOQs, and cost plans using BIM data.
- Perform cost analysis and value engineering throughout project development.
- Update project cost models as design changes occur, ensuring real-time cost tracking.
3. Tendering & Procurement
- Participate in tender document preparation and bid evaluation using BIM quantities.
- Ensure consistency between design, BIM data, and tender documentation.
- Perform cost comparisons across design options using model-based data.
4. Project Cost Control
- Manage budget reporting, cash flow forecasting, and progress payments.
- Monitor cost performance by linking BIM data to construction progress (4D/5D BIM).
- Identify and report cost deviations or risks in real time through BIM dashboards.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors via the Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Support design and project teams with data-driven cost insights.
- Review BIM models for consistency, accuracy, and constructability from a cost perspective.
