Role Description

We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor for a full-time on-site role in Ras Al Khaimah. The primary responsibilities include preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects. The role also involves performing cost analysis, monitoring project expenditures, negotiating contracts, and assessing cost variations. Regular collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors forms an integral part of the role to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery while meeting budgetary requirements.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and preparation of tender documents
  • Experience with cost analysis, cash flow forecasting, and monitoring project expenditures
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage contracts and cost variations effectively
  • Technical expertise in construction methodologies and materials
  • Competency in software tools relevant to quantity surveying, such as CAD and estimating software
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the construction, engineering, or consultancy industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and project management practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders
