About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure projects team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, contract administration, and project commercial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs from IFC drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare cost estimates throughout different project stages.
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor invoices.
- Measure completed works and verify quantities.
- Evaluate Variation Orders (VOs) and their cost impact.
- Support claims preparation and contract administration.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare cost reports and commercial updates.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Proven experience in roads, infrastructure, and utilities projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, measurements, VO, IPC, and claims.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and quantity surveying practices.
