About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP & Civil) to join our expanding contracting team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing BOQs, evaluating subcontractor works, and ensuring cost control throughout all project phases.

(UAE experience is mandatory.)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and detailed quantity take-offs for MEP & Civil works
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, and cost control
• Prepare interim payment applications, variations, and claims
• Evaluate and verify subcontractor quotations, contracts, and invoices
• Conduct site visits for measurement and progress verification
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
• Support tendering, pricing, and bid submissions
• Track material usage, wastage, and cost deviations
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• 37 years of UAE experience in MEP & Civil QS roles (mandatory)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS tools (Candy, Planswift, CostX)
• Strong knowledge of UAE market rates and materials
• Experience in preparing estimates, valuations, and variation claims
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Immediate joiners will be given priority
