Position: Quantity Surveyor Road Construction
Location: Abu Dhabi and Sharjah UAE
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with 3 to 6 years of proven expertise in UAE's road construction sector. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in cost estimation, measurement, drafting, and reporting, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Applicants must be currently available in the UAE, and immediate joiners are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for road construction projects.
- Conduct measurements and valuations for ongoing works.
- Review contracts, variations, and a claims to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare interim and final payment applications.
- Maintain up-to-date project cost reports and forecasts.
- Coordinate with the project team to monitor budgets and cost control.
- Assist in drafting project-related reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of Quantity Surveying experience in UAE within the road construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of drafting and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Must be currently based in the UAE.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
