Job Summary
The Quantity Surveyor – Post Contract is responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of infrastructure projects during the construction phase. The role focuses on cost control, contract administration, valuations, variations, claims, payments, and final account settlements while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage post-contract quantity surveying activities for infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and evaluate interim payment applications, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and commercial performance.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepare commercial reports, cost forecasts, and financial updates.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of post-contract quantity surveying experience on infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, and cost control.
- Experience with roads, bridges, utilities, rail, or similar infrastructure works.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
