Description
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Estimator . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction cost estimation and project management, with a proven track record of delivering accurate estimates and managing project budgets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for all project costs, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Review and analyze project documents to provide detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on material costs and procurement strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and budget forecasts to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation, preferably in the Gulf region.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for precise cost calculations.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients and subcontractors effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
