Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to be part of a global engineering firm At ILF Consulting Engineers UAE, we're launching a transformative project and we're looking for someone like you to lead the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and other variables.
• Use industry benchmarks, historical data, and market rates to ensure realistic cost projections.
• Evaluate contractor and supplier bids, analyzing pricing, technical specifications, and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare tender evaluation reports and advise the project team on contract awards.
• Monitor project expenses and cash flow, identifying cost-saving opportunities and risks.
• Implement cost control measures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
• Measure and quantify completed works on-site, ensuring accurate quantity take-offs and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with design teams to verify quantities and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation of cost-related activities, including contracts, claims, and variations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar role, preferably within GCC.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in PMC or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and industry practices.
• Proficient in cost estimation techniques, quantity take-off methods, and cost control processes.
• Familiarity with software applications for cost estimation, measurement, and project management.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations, standards, and codes.
• Understanding of procurement practices and contract administration.
• Experience in similar roles and familiarity with on-site operations, especially in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or the Gulf region.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in English.
