Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on a major infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have solid UAE experience in roads and infrastructure works, with the ability to handle day-to-day quantity surveying and cost control activities.
This role requires the ability to work with general supervision, manage routine tasks independently, and support senior team members on complex commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing quantity surveying and commercial activities for the project
- Support cost planning, budgeting, and financial tracking
- Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and change orders
- Measure quantities and review drawings and project specifications
- Maintain records of project costs, payments, and progress
- Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Coordinate with project teams to support cost control and reporting
- Prepare periodic cost reports and assist in financial forecasting
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of commercial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience in Quantity Surveying
- At least 5+ years of experience in the UAE, preferably in infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in roads and infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and change control
