About Your Team

You will work closely with project, procurement, finance, design, and site teams to ensure effective cost control and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to manage progress claims, variations, payments, material estimates, cash-flow forecasts, and final accounts—supporting profitable and successful project delivery.

Your Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation.
  • Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialisation
  • Apply the Company's frameworks to guide role expectations, levels of responsibility, skills, development, and progression.
  • Take measurements from site and drawings to verify quantities and ensure cost accuracy.
  • Monitor project costs, assess variations, and prepare interim valuations and final accounts
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure financial transparency and contractual compliance.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost advice during design and construction phases.
  • Manage subcontractors, their payment application and claims
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts
  • Follow-up with client for the payments
  • Preparing the material estimate to support the procurement team and site team to place the necessary material orders on time and follow up for the delivery.
  • Reconciling tender drawings against IFC and shop drawings to identify design changes and potential variations
  • Identify and notify the client about the variation work and managing variations to protect project profitability
  • Delivering regular budget reports, payment certifications and final accounts
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction environment, with strong exposure to cost estimation, contract administration, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Awareness and working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and BIM modelling tools
  • Proficiency in ACONEX, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability.
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Confident reading and working from drawings independently

Desirable:

  • Experience with cost management software (e.g., Candy, or similar).
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards.
