Quantity Surveyor

Role Description This full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conduct cost estimates, and support tender preparation and evaluation. Daily tasks include monitoring project costs, verifying subcontractor and supplier invoices, and assisting with contract administration and variation orders. The role also involves preparing cost reports, supporting project managers with budget control, and coordinating with site teams to ensure accurate measurement and documentation. The successful candidate will help maintain financial efficiency and support timely, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong cost management skills, including Cost Management and Cost Planning, to support accurate budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to monitor expenditures, track variances, and produce regular cost summaries.
• Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, measurement, and verification to ensure precise project quantification and tender documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience in interior fit out, MEP contracting, or civil works projects, within the UAE or GCC region.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contracts and local construction regulations.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
