- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on approved design drawings and specifications.
- Conduct detailed cost estimation and budgeting for new stores, renovations, and refurbishments.
- Develop and issue tender documents including scope of work, specifications, and commercial terms.
- Float tenders to approved vendors and manage the bid evaluation processtechnical and commercial.
- Prepare detailed bid comparison statements and cost analysis reports for management review.
- Draft approval notes and assist in finalizing vendor recommendations and contract award documentation.
- Support the design and procurement teams in value engineering to achieve cost efficiency without compromising design intent or quality.
- Review and verify contractor quotations, variation claims, and progress payment requests.
- Prepare and issue interim payment certificates (IPCs) and final payment certificates after site verification.
- Track project expenditures and maintain cost control reports throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and manage variations and change orders, ensuring proper justification and approval processes.
- Prepare project financial summaries and final account reports for management and finance teams.
- Liaise with contractors and consultants to resolve cost-related issues and maintain proper commercial documentation.
- Maintain complete and organized records of all tender submissions, contracts, approvals, and cost documents.
- Prepare detailed project financial tracking sheets, payment trackers, and invoice registers.
- Coordinate with finance to ensure timely invoice processing and payment release as per certified quantities and contractual terms.
- Ensure that all documentation aligns with company policies, audit requirements, and internal approval protocols.
- Support the Projects team by providing accurate cost forecasts, budget utilization reports, and financial dashboards.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and site teams to align financial and technical scopes.
- Conduct site visits to verify completed work, material installations, and variation claims.
- Provide commercial input during project meetings and highlight cost or scope deviations.
- Liaise with mall management authorities for documentation and compliance related to store fitout execution.
- Ensure all cost and contractual matters are closed before final handover of the store.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 58 years of experience in retail fitout or interior projects.
- Strong skills in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
