Job Objective
This role is responsible for the quantitysurveying functions across development projects, ensuring alignment with budget, timelines, and company policies. The Quantity Surveyor assists in cost planning, reviews external cost consultants, and provides strategic insights to senior leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Check, review, and provide support on all matters related to Commercial Management concerning post-contract administration, cost reporting, cash flow, change management, and payment certification.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates at all stages of the development cycle.
- Administer the change management process in liaison with development, delivery and other stakeholders
- Check, review, and administer post-contract payment certification for contractors
- Check, review, and administer payment certification for site supervision consultant
- Ensure contracts and consultancy agreements are administered according to standard contract conditions and consultancy agreements.
- Maintain logs for all bonds, insurances, payments, and changes
- Monitor the project budget
- Support, coordinate, and perform all Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management functions conducted by or on behalf of the Commercial Department, ensuring activities are aligned with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or equivalent. Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent is a plus
- Overall experience of 5-7 years with at least 1-3 Years of Experience in Quantity Surveying in Property Development, and/or Consultancy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good IT skills.
