Key Responsibilities
1) Quantity Surveying & Cost Control
- Verify BOQs and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare project budgets and cost plans.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
2) Procurement Management
- Develop project procurement schedules aligned with construction programs.
- Prepare RFQs and tender packages for materials and subcontractors.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Develop and maintain approved supplier databases.
- Evaluate supplier performance and pricing.
- Build strategic relationships with key suppliers.
3) Prepare Reports
- Procurement status reports.
- Cost reports.
- Budget variance reports.
- Material tracking reports.
4) Should have UAE Construction Experience Requirements
5) Minimum 2–3years experience in UAE construction projects.
6) Experience handling major procurement packages:
- Concrete
- Reinforcement steel
- Aluminium & glazing
- Tiles /ceiling
- Joinery
- Marble & stone
- Elevators
- Waterproofing
