Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1) Quantity Surveying & Cost Control

  • Verify BOQs and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare project budgets and cost plans.
  • Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.

2) Procurement Management

  • Develop project procurement schedules aligned with construction programs.
  • Prepare RFQs and tender packages for materials and subcontractors.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
  • Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
  • Develop and maintain approved supplier databases.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and pricing.
  • Build strategic relationships with key suppliers.

3) Prepare Reports

  • Procurement status reports.
  • Cost reports.
  • Budget variance reports.
  • Material tracking reports.

4) Should have UAE Construction Experience Requirements

5) Minimum 2–3years experience in UAE construction projects.

6) Experience handling major procurement packages:

  • Concrete
  • Reinforcement steel
  • Aluminium & glazing
  • Tiles /ceiling
  • Joinery
  • Marble & stone
  • Elevators
  • Waterproofing
