Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Joinery

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Joinery to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in joinery and wood works, including interior fit-out and custom furniture projects.

This role requires someone who can handle project costing, material estimation, BOQ preparation, and coordination with suppliers and site teams efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare BOQs, quotations, and cost estimates for joinery and fit-out projects

- Analyze drawings and specifications related to wood works and custom joinery

- Calculate material quantities, labor costs, and project budgets

- Coordinate with procurement, production, and site teams

- Prepare variation orders and monitor project costs

- Source and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

- Review project progress and ensure cost control throughout execution

- Assist in project tendering and pricing submissions

Requirements:

✅ MUST have experience in Joinery / Wood Works / Interior Fit-Out

✅ Strong understanding of wood materials, finishes, and joinery production processes

✅ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings

✅ Experience in BOQ preparation and project estimation

✅ Knowledge of market rates and suppliers in UAE

✅ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD

✅ Good communication and coordination skills

✅ Minimum 2–5 years UAE experience in joinery or fit-out industry preferred
