Key accountabilities:
1. Design, develop, and optimize radar seeker systems for airborne platform, including military aircraft or missiles.
2. Develop and implement signal processing algorithm for radar seeker to improve target acquisition, tracking, and classification.
3. Integrate radar seeker with other airborne avionics and sub-systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance in real flight environment.
4. Conduct ground and flight tests to validate radar seeker performance, ensuring the system meets operational requirements and specifications.
5. Analyze radar data, assess system performance, and troubleshoot issues to improve accuracy, resolution and range.
6. Ensure the radar system complies with aviation regulations and standards for safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and emissions.
7. Work closely with hardware, software, and system engineers to ensure seamless radar operation within the broader avionics suite.
8. Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system functional requirements and specification description.
Qualifications:
1. Master's or PhD in Electrical engineering, Aerospace engineering, or related field.
2. Advanced courses in radar theory, RF/microwave design, signal processing, and electromagnetics theory.
3. Certification in airborne radar systems, RF engineering, or defense/aerospace technologies.
4. Hands-on experience in radar seeker design, simulation, and testing.
5. Experience with airborne radar seeker in military applications.
6. Experience with Circuit design in Altium.
7. Experience with simulations tools, such as, CST, HFSS, Microwave Office and MATLAB.
8. Experience with LTCC technology and MMIC's design techniques.
9. Knowledge of industry and military standards and aviation regulatory compliance.
