Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose cancer patients to determine appropriate radiation therapy protocols
- Administer radiation treatments, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient-centered care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, processes, and potential side effects
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with healthcare laws and regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution with specialized training in Radiation Oncology
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology is preferred
- Active medical license to practice in the Gulf region
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiation oncology or related field
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
