Railway Depot Maintenance Manager

Job Description

We are a well-established Spanish construction company with both national and international presence, providing value, expertise, and a strong track record across the infrastructure sector.

We are currently looking for a Track Maintenance Depot Manager with a university degree, preferably in Civil Engineering (MSc or equivalent), Civil Works Engineering or a related discipline, with proven experience in railway track construction and/or maintenance projects and full availability to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop the annual, monthly and weekly operational maintenance plans in accordance with the Maintenance Plans.
  • Continuously monitor the condition and performance of the track and railway infrastructure, ensuring maintenance teams are available to respond to operational incidents.
  • Review and update the maintenance management database daily, tracking completed and pending activities and planning both scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Issue instructions for the preparation of maintenance work orders and review completed reports.
  • Supervise railway track and infrastructure maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and manage maintenance records using the project's maintenance management software.
  • Prepare technical reports related to maintenance plan compliance, work progress and incident investigations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Works Engineering or an equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of ADIF railway track and infrastructure technical standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in railway construction and/or maintenance contracts, preferably on High-Speed Rail (HSR) projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and maintenance management software such as IBM Maximo, CMMS or similar.
  • Willingness to relocate and reside in Saudi Arabia.
  • Occupational Health & Safety training.
  • English level B2 or higher (spoken and written).
  • Valid driving licence (Category B).
