Position: Range System Engineer
We're on the lookout for a Range Systems Engineer who plays a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex range systems used for testing, operations, and training purposes. The position requires a technically adept professional who can work across multiple disciplines to ensure system functionality, efficiency, and safety while leading installation and operational activities across the range. The range is located in Abu Dhabi.

Key Accountabilities:
- Support the integration of subsystems and components into the overall range system.
- Conduct system testing and validation to confirm performance and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation, integration, and testing phases.
- Supervise and guide technicians and artisans during installation, maintenance, and operational activities.
- Coordinate daily activities across different trades to ensure smooth system operations.
- Perform micromanagement of system setup, calibration, and monitoring during range exercises.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on range systems and related equipment.
- Develop maintenance logs, update technical documentation, and ensure accurate system records.
- Respond promptly to system malfunctions to minimize downtime and operational impact.
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and mission requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and range operational procedures at all times.
- Assist in preparing reports, test documentation, and configuration updates.
Experience & Qualifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
- Any related CISCO, CCIE, CCNP VOIP and MCSE certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system operations, maintenance, or integrationpreferably within a defense, range, or test environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems, instrumentation, and field integration.
- IT, Communication, System Programming, CCTV, Access Door Programming and security system.
- Hands-on experience supervising technicians and coordinating field activities.
- Familiarity with defense range safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent coordination and team communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical tasks under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and safety-driven mindset.
