Role Description The Rating Analyst role is a full-time remote position focused on evaluating the financial health and performance of client businesses. The Rating Analyst will review and interpret financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and contribute to internal rating models and methodologies. Daily responsibilities include performing quantitative and qualitative analysis, preparing rating reports, and documenting key assumptions and conclusions. The role involves collaborating with consulting teams, participating in client discussions when needed, and providing clear, data-backed rationales for rating decisions. The Rating Analyst will also support ongoing monitoring of rated entities, track changes in performance, and contribute to internal process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong financial analysis abilities, including Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Analysis skills.
- Proven Analytical Skills and experience working with Ratings, credit assessments, or similar evaluative frameworks.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly in written reports and meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications will be an advantage
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modeling tools; familiarity with data visualization or BI tools is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience in consulting, banking, rating agencies, or corporate finance is preferred but not mandatory.
