The Real Estate Consultant will provide high-level strategic, commercial, and technical advisory support across major real estate development and investment initiatives. The role focuses on supporting executive decision-making through independent analysis, feasibility assessment, and market-driven recommendations related to large-scale residential and mixed-use developments.
This role requires exceptional discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to operate in complex, high-visibility environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Advisory
- Provide independent advisory support on real estate development and investment strategies.
- Support senior leadership with inputs for high-level decisions related to land development, housing programs, and real estate initiatives.
- Contribute to shaping long-term development strategies aligned with national housing and urban development objectives.
Feasibility & Financial Advisory
- Lead or review feasibility studies, highest and best use analyses, and development business cases.
- Develop and assess financial models including cash flow projections, IRR, NPV, and sensitivity analysis.
- Evaluate commercial viability, return scenarios, and development risks.
Market & Development Advisory
- Conduct market assessments covering demand, pricing, absorption, and competitive positioning.
- Advise on product mix, unit typologies, phasing strategies, and development concepts.
- Benchmark projects against regional and international best practices in real estate development.
Stakeholder & Governance Support
- Engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams (development, finance, strategy).
- Coordinate with external consultants, advisors, and subject-matter experts.
- Prepare high-quality briefing materials, reports, and presentations for executive and committee-level reviews.
Risk, Policy & Decision Support
- Identify commercial, market, and financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support structured decision-gate processes and governance frameworks.
- Ensure recommendations are practical, data-driven, and defensible at senior leadership level.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in real estate consulting, advisory, development, or investment.
- Strong exposure to large-scale residential and/or mixed-use developments.
- Proven experience in feasibility studies, real estate financial modeling, and strategic advisory.
- Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and operate in high-confidentiality environments.
- Strong understanding of real estate development economics and governance processes.
