Role Overview
A private investment firm is seeking an Associate to join its investment team. The role focuses on evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting the ongoing management of portfolio investments. This position offers full deal lifecycle exposure in a lean, high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis, structuring, and execution of investment transactions, with a focus on asset evaluation and financial modelling
- Assist in coordinating and executing due diligence workstreams (commercial, technical, financial, tax, and legal)
- Identify key investment risks and develop mitigants
- Conduct market and sector research to support investment theses
- Build and review financial and operational models and prepare investment committee materials
- Support debt and equity fundraising efforts for new and existing investments
- Assist with portfolio monitoring and internal/external reporting
- Liaise with management teams, lenders, investment banks, and external advisors
Candidate Profile
- Strong academic background with a consistent track record of performance
- Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals
- Proven ability to build advanced financial models from scratch
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Self-starter with high work ethic and a hands-on mindset
