Senior Investment & Development Professional - Luxury Real Estate (based in Abu Dhabi or Riyadh)

A leading global investment manager is seeking a senior hands-on investment & development professional with experience in luxury real estate incl. hotels and branded residential assets. The position covers the full asset lifecycle from construction and fit-out through to stabilised operations. There will also be opportunity to deploy further capital at a later date.

This will suit someone with prior on-the-ground investment management experience in GCC luxury real estate, having strong knowledge of the development and construction phases.

Brief role overview

Project Management

• Lead luxury real estate project oversight end-to-end from construction through to stabilised operations, engaging with developers, operators and brands on delivery, standards and management agreements
• Actively challenge business plans, operating performance and capex programmes to drive long-term value

Portfolio & Investment Management

• Manage a global luxury hospitality real estate portfolio, overseeing performance, risk and capital allocation
• Partner with senior leadership and the IC on acquisition, hold and exit decisions
• Shape real estate strategy, portfolio construction and diversification, supporting the development of new investment themes and structures

Requirements

• Senior investment & development professional within luxury real estate
• Ability to be hands on and help initiate best practice in the development phase of luxury real estate
• Significant GCC experience
• Background can include private equity, family office, real estate operators & developers, SWFs
• Arabic helpful but not essential
