Job Summary:
A leading hospital in Mohandessin is seeking a ReceivableAccountant to manage and analyze revenues related to contracted patients, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and handle outstanding balances with insurance companies and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable aging reports for contracted clients, including debts, collections, and contract settlements.
- Analyze deductions, delays in payments, and identify the reasons behind delayed collections.
- Perform detailed revenue analysis for contracted patients.
- Record and review revenue recognition journal entries related to contracting cases in accordance with accounting standards.
- Manage accrued and deferred revenues and coordinate related analyses with the external audit office.
- Calculate and ensure proper physicians fees entitlement for contracted cases.
- Review and process pharmacy claims related to contracted patients.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, corporate accounts, medical departments, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in hospital accounting or healthcare contracting is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and accounts receivable.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
