Job Overview:
The Recreation Team Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation, operations, and service readiness of the private family Sports Complex. This role focuses on maintaining exceptional hospitality standards, ensuring the facility is immaculately maintained, and delivering a seamless leisure experience for the principal, family members, and their guests.
The successful candidate will have experience in luxury hospitality, private households, private wellness facilities or superyacht service where meticulous standards, discretion, and proactive service are essential. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on operations, presentation, guest experience, and immaculate service delivery.
Facility Overview (Approx. 3,500 m²)
- 2 Paddle Courts
- 1 Multi-Purpose Court: Configurable for basketball and volleyball
- Running Track surrounding the courts for cardio and warm-up activities
- Gym Area
- Climbing Wall equipped with a quantum board
- Ski Treadmill
- Brush Boarding Machine
- Spa facilities including Sauna, Steam rooms and Plunge pools
Key Skills
1. Facility Presentation
- Manage the daily operations of the sports complex to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient running.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout all facilities.
- Ensure all sports, wellness, lounge, and changing areas are fully prepared and reset before and after use.
- Keep all equipment clean, functional, safely stored, and ready for use.
- Deliver immaculate, discreet, and professional service to the Principal, family members, and guests at all times.
2. Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Ensure the sports complex is always guest-ready for the family and visitors.
- Develop and manage detailed program calendars, coordinating with guests to ensure smooth operations, avoid scheduling conflicts, and maximize facility and resource utilization.
- Ensure all events and activities are properly planned, approved, communicated, and documented.
- Provide a luxury-level hospitality experience with attention to detail and personalized service.
- Arrange and oversee food, beverage, towels, refreshments, and guest amenities as required.
- Anticipate guest needs to create a seamless and enjoyable environment.
3. Operations & Compliance
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, chefs, and service teams to ensure all operational needs are met promptly.
- Monitor cleanliness, repairs, replenishment, and overall facility standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sport-specific regulations.
- Manage incident reporting and follow all safety procedures.
4. Staff Management
- Prepare and manage staff schedules, shifts, leave plans, and coverage requirements.
- Coordinate staff transportation and daily operational support where required.
- Ensure timely submission of attendance records and timesheets for payroll.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain high service and operational standards.
- Promote a professional, positive, and team-oriented working environment.

- Previous experience in preparing guest spaces and delivering luxury-level hospitality service, like;
- Private household service
- Luxury hospitality or high-end resorts
- Private club or wellness facility management
- Superyacht service (highly desirable)
