Job Title: HR Recruiter

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition:
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to fill open positions effectively.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
  1. Job Analysis and Posting:
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Write clear and compelling job descriptions and post them on appropriate platforms.
  1. Candidate Screening and Selection:
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and shortlist candidates.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, including technical assessments relevant to the oil and gas industry.
  1. Employer Branding:
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice through social media campaigns, job fairs, and university partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events and career fairs to attract top talent.
  1. Pipeline Management:
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs, particularly for specialized roles in the oil and gas sector.
  1. Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all recruitment processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interviews, assessments, and hiring decisions.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with HR teams on onboarding, training, and employee retention strategies.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast future hiring needs and align them with business goals.
  1. Use of Technology:
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR tools to streamline the recruitment process.
  • Stay updated on technological trends to enhance recruitment efficiency.
  1. Reporting and Metrics:
  • Prepare and present recruitment metrics and analytics to assess hiring effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are advantageous.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the oil and gas industry and its unique workforce requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting recruitment data and trends.
  • Experience:
  • 3–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the oil and gas or energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successful placements for technical and specialized roles.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with roles specific to the oil and gas industry, such as engineers, geologists, project managers, and field technicians.
  • Understanding of safety and compliance standards relevant to the sector.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruitment events or field site visits.
