We are building and scaling a high-performance remote team across content, marketing, and operations — and we are looking for a Recruiter + HR Ops specialist who can take full ownership of hiring and team processes.
This is not a corporate HR role!
We are a media company with a team of 25.
This role is hands-on and execution-driven, with a strong focus on accelerating hiring and building scalable systems.
Role Overview
- Remote, full-time (contractor)
- Work directly with the founder and core team
- Own the full hiring pipeline (from sourcing to onboarding)
- Build and improve internal team processes
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting (Primary Focus)
- Source and attract high-quality candidates across roles (content, marketing, operations)
- Write high-converting job descriptions
- Build and manage candidate pipelines
- Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews
- Design and manage test tasks
- Filter large volumes of applicants and identify top 1–5%
- Ensure fast hiring cycles (speed is critical)
HR Ops / People Operations
- Build and improve onboarding processes (make new hires productive fast)
- Organize and maintain SOPs and internal documentation
- Structure hiring workflows (from application → hire)
- Track candidate and employee performance (especially during probation)
- Handle basic admin (contracts, document collection like W-8 forms)
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in recruiting (preferably remote teams)
- Experience hiring for roles like content, marketing, sales, or operations
- Strong ability to evaluate candidates quickly and accurately
- System thinking — ability to build structured processes, not chaos
- High ownership and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills (English required)

- You prefer corporate HR environments
- You focus more on theory than execution
- You are not comfortable working with speed and accountability
- You have no hands-on recruiting experience
