Recruitment Consultant Construction

Our construction desk sources skilled talent from India and places it with international employers on large-scale projects across Europe.

The Role

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant with strong construction sector expertise and a sales mindset. You will own the front end of our construction hiring: calling candidates, inviting them to our office, and running the screening and selection process for construction companies, infrastructure projects, civil engineering firms, MEP contractors and general contracting organizations.

You will assess candidates on genuine technical capability, not just what is written on the CV, before they reach our international clients.

What You'll Do

• Call candidates, screen, and shortlist CVs against employer specifications, and invite suitable candidates to our office
• Conduct telephonic, virtual and face-to-face interviews for construction positions
• Assess candidates technical competency across civil, structural, MEP, site management and skilled trades, including construction methods, site operations, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Verify qualifications, certifications and project experience across residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure and MEP sectors against client requirements.
• Evaluate communication skills, professionalism, safety awareness and overall suitability
• Run competency-based and behavioral interviews to identify high-potential candidates
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports with clear selection or rejection recommendations
• Support sales and business development by understanding client manpower needs and converting them into active requirements
• Coordinate with sourcing partners and regional sub-agents across India to fill client manpower requirements
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment databases
• Deliver against recruitment targets and client deadlines

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience in construction recruitment, manpower supply, staffing or agency environments
• Proven track record of construction hiring with a demonstrable placement history
• Solid working knowledge of construction operations, civil engineering, infrastructure, MEP, site management and skilled trades
• Strong calling, sourcing, screening, interviewing and assessment skills
• Ability to evaluate candidates beyond the CV by probing technical and practical job knowledge
• Sales and target orientation, with excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and Hindi; additional Indian regional languages are an advantage given pan-India sourcing
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Own UAE residence visa preferred
