Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reefer Technician role located in the Industrial Area. The Reefer Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing multi-brand transport refrigeration units installed on trucks, trailers, and vans. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults, and conducting system checks to ensure temperature-controlled equipment operates safely and reliably. The role also involves installing direct-drive and diesel refrigeration units, supporting van insulation and chiller solutions, and assisting with refrigerated body repair and refurbishment as needed. The technician will document work performed, follow company standard operating procedures, coordinate with the service team, and support fleet customers with timely and professional technical service.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in refrigeration systems, including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of transport refrigeration units and chiller equipment.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems related to commercial vehicles, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, wiring, controls, and truck cabin A/C.
• Ability to perform installation work for refrigeration units, van insulation, and related components while following safety and quality standards.
• Competence in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic instruments, and service software relevant to refrigeration and vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, fleet support procedures, and documentation of service records.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in refrigeration, HVAC, automotive technology, or a related field; additional manufacturer training is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a reefer, HVAC, or refrigeration technician in commercial or transport applications is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service instructions in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality in all work performed.
