Job Summary
The Pilates and Fitness Coach is a vital team member dedicated to delivering world-class Pilates and fitness group classes and private sessions that motivate and engage clients.
The role involves supporting the overall operations of the studio, ensuring a safe and inspiring environment, and fostering a sense of community across the recreation and lifestyle department.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. The coach must serve as a role model, embodying the values of wellness and the brand standards of the facility. This position may also involve supporting recreation and lifestyle management duties when necessary, ensuring smooth operations across all programs and facilities.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a certified Pilates Instructor.
- Experience in scheduling and team management is a plus.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, admin systems).
- Understanding of P&L is advantageous.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to various situations.
- A well-presented with clear speech.
- High level of physical fitness and good general health.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Strong training and appraisal skills.
- Education or Certification:
- Well-recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Pilates certification.
- Group fitness or personal training certification/license.
- REPs affiliation is a plus
Classes: 2 to 4/Day
Shift: 24 days/Month (6 days off)- Split shifts/Flexible Shifts
Working Hours: 8-9 hours per day.
Shifts can be rearranged as business demand, with the possibility of split shifts.
No. of classes/day: An average of 2 to 4 classes per day, which may vary, especially during other instructors vacations when cover will be needed.
