As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our critical processes. Your technical know-how and proactive approach will directly impact the success and compliance of our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities Ammonia Refrigeration Plant Maintenance & Operation
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems, chillers, compressors, valves, and associated plant equipment.
- Monitor plant systems for performance, promptly identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults or safety concerns to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all ammonia-related activities adhere to relevant legislative requirements, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Oversee plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency response processes, maintaining records as required by statutory and company standards.
- Carry out leak detection and rectification of ammonia systems; respond rapidly to alarms, troubleshooting and isolating issues methodically.
