The Regional Commercial Manager is responsible for commercial growth, performance, and franchise partnerships in assigned markets. This role will collaborate with internal teams to align forecasts, assortments, and promotional strategies for growth, and will manage a Retail Operations Manager for consumer engagement and brand consistency.

Responsibilities

Grow & Drive the Business

  • Achieve sales, profit, and critical metric performance in assigned markets in line with regional and global goals.
  • Partner with MP+A to translate global strategies (pricing, assortment, promotional cadence) into locally relevant execution.
  • Perform routine business assessments with franchise collaborators, pinpointing potential pitfalls, chances for improvement, and necessary measures.
  • Harness consumer insights and market trends to develop commercial plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Provide ongoing insights on consumer behaviors, competition, and cultural dynamics to inform global strategy.

Operational & Commercial Excellence

  • Secure flawless implementation of merchandising, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and customer experience across markets and channels.
  • Guide and mentor the Retail Operations Manager to enhance franchise field/store leadership capability.
  • Support execution of new store openings and major brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Ensure a smooth customer journey across all BBW channels, encompassing digital platforms, shop-in-shops, and marketplaces.

Partner Relationships

  • Act as the main point of contact for commercial matters with franchise leadership in the designated region, guaranteeing agreement on strategy, priorities, and performance.
  • Cultivate solid, trust-centered connections with franchise partners via organized communication and collaborative business evaluations.
  • Cascade brand updates, commercial initiatives, and global priorities effectively to partners.

Financial Management

  • Manage combined commercial performance (sales, margin, store efficiency) throughout designated markets.
  • Ensure accurate market forecasts, budgets, and financial submissions, in partnership with MP+A and franchise partners.
  • Identify factors contributing to over/under-performance and suggest remedial measures to the VP, Commercial.

Talent & Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop a Retail Operations Manager in-market, providing direction, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with franchise leadership to impact recruitment, retention, and succession planning for field and store leaders.
  • Build high-performing, engaged teams that uphold brand values and deliver consistent customer experiences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in international retail, personal care, or consumer goods.
  • Demonstrates competence in managing P&L, forecasting, and monitoring critical metrics.
  • Experience in franchise, licensing, or partner-led business models.
  • Ability to apply consumer insights to drive revenue and optimize execution.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally, particularly with MP+A, supply chain, and marketing teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote and in-market teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
