Regional Director - Architecture & Engineering

I'm working with a global multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Regional Director to lead and further develop its Abu Dhabi business.

The company already has an established presence in the UAE, with a strong track record of delivering major projects across the region and a solid base of existing work in Abu Dhabi.

They are now looking for a senior individual who can take ownership of the operation, strengthen key client relationships and build on the platform already in place, with the backing and resources of a wider international business.

The role will have responsibility for the overall growth and performance of the Abu Dhabi business, working closely with clients, identifying new opportunities and supporting the delivery of work across multiple disciplines.

They are particularly interested in someone who:

• Has a strong network across the Abu Dhabi developer and real estate market
• Has experience winning and developing work with major clients
• Has operated at Director, Regional Director or equivalent level
• Comes from either an architecture or engineering background
• Has experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy
• Can combine commercial leadership with a strong understanding of project delivery
• Has significant experience within the UAE or wider GCC

This is a broad regional leadership position rather than a role focused on one particular discipline, so the successful person could come from either an architecture or engineering background, provided they have the relationships, commercial experience and leadership capability to grow the business across Abu Dhabi.
