Title: Regional Equipment Management Manager, Maritime Logistics

Location: Singapore

Our client is a high growth maritime logistics company and regional shipping agency.

As part of their continued growth in Asia, they are seeking a driven Regional Equipment Management Manager to manage their Principal's container asset pipeline across Asia.

In this role, you will lead regional equipment balancing, empty repositioning, and depot vendor performance—ensuring optimal equipment availability while aggressively optimizing operational expenditure.

Responsibilities:

Direct regional container flows across dry, reefer, or special equipment portfolios and maintain ideal stock balances across regional ports and depots while reducing dwell times and long-stay inventory
Formulate and optimize empty container positioning strategies across feeder networks, land transportation, and main-haul vessel allocations without compromising laden capacity
Supervise regional third-party depot networks and oversee maintenance and repair standards (IICL), managing specialized equipment workflows and conduct regular site audits
Lead contract management for master, long-term, or spot leases or off-hire/on-hire programs
Work with Principal's Equipment Management Team to execute re-delivery/off-hire strategies for leased units to minimize charges
Take ownership of operational expenditure across depot handling, lease hire, and repositioning freight, while approving vendor invoices against contractual rates and verified operational logs

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
Ideally 8–10 years of progressive experience in container equipment flow, liner operations, or regional shipping logistics.
Deep expertise in Asian regional port/terminal practices, IICL M&R standards, container leasing dynamics, and depot operations will be highly advantageous
Strong track record in vendor negotiations, agency management, and regional cross-functional leadership.
A data-driven problem solver with a strategic mindset on cost reduction, optimization and operational excellence
A proactive, hands-on manager who thrives in fast-moving environments
Ability to navigate operational ambiguity, establishing structure where needed, and driving results with minimal supervision
