Regional Finance Manager, Manufacturing Multinational

Our client is a well-established manufacturing multinational organisation seeking a Regional Finance Manager to join its Regional Headquarters in Singapore. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant accounting operations across Southeast Asia and Australia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, strengthening governance standards and supporting the organisation's continued growth across the region.

As Regional Finance Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, account reconciliations and corporate reporting requirements. Working closely with regional and local finance teams, you will ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements and corporate governance standards while driving operational excellence and service delivery effectiveness.

The role also serves as the Regional Key User and Regional Process Owner for General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will be responsible for driving process harmonisation across multiple markets, enhancing internal controls, supporting user capability development and championing continuous improvement initiatives. This includes collaborating with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardisation, automation and greater efficiency while ensuring alignment with corporate finance policies and best practices.

In addition, you will support regional tax and treasury activities through close coordination with local finance teams, Corporate Tax, Corporate Treasury and external advisors. The position will be involved in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, transfer pricing requirements and treasury policies, while supporting cash flow management, liquidity planning and foreign exchange risk management across the region. You will also contribute to initiatives aimed at optimising tax efficiency, strengthening working capital management and improving overall financial performance.

The ideal candidate will possess a recognised degree in Accounting or Finance, together with a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA or ACCA. You will bring at least 8 years of experience in regional finance operations, shared services, controllership or finance excellence roles within a multinational environment. Strong technical accounting knowledge, coupled with proven experience in process improvement, stakeholder management and leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple countries, will be essential for success in this role.
