Job Description

As Regional Head Middle East, you will be responsible for driving aggressive growth and customer acquisition across key Middle East markets. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L ownership, centered on unlocking scale through performance marketing, channel expansion, and market penetration strategies. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building consumer businesses from the ground up, thrives in fast-paced environments, and brings a growth-hacker mindset. This role will be more focused on Growth and Acquisition compared to the overall Head of Middle East role and is designed as a lean, agile leadership position requiring strong executional ownership and entrepreneurial agility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Growth Strategy & Business Leadership

Develop and execute a growth-centric regional business strategy focused on rapid acquisition and market scale-up.

Own the end-to-end P&L, with accountability for top-line growth, cost optimization, and profitability.

Identify and evaluate new market entry strategies, partnerships, and business models to accelerate user and revenue growth.

Drive operational efficiency with scalable processes across supply chain, logistics, channel mix, and customer service.

2. Marketing, Branding & Consumer Acquisition

Spearhead regional brand positioning and performance marketing efforts to drive awareness, acquisition, and retention.

This includes a sharp focus on customer acquisition, retention, and data-driven growth experimentation.

Localize global campaigns with cultural, linguistic, and demographic relevance for the Middle East.

Leverage consumer insights, digital analytics, and A/B testing to refine product-market fit and messaging.

Ensure brand consistency and performance alignment across all customer touchpoints (online and offline).

3. Commercial & Channel Growth

Build, manage, and optimize retail, e-commerce, distributor, and third-party sales channels across the region.

Prioritize scalable acquisition-led channels to maximize reach and revenue impact.

Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and key accounts that unlock new user segments.

Design localized pricing, assortment, and promotion strategies to support growth KPIs.

4. Leadership & Team Development

Build and lead a high-performing, growth-focused cross-functional team across Sales, Marketing, Ops, and CX.

Foster a strong culture of ownership, experimentation, and innovation across regional teams.

Coach and mentor team members to take ownership of growth goals, and develop succession plans for critical roles.

5. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

Provide growth dashboards, forecasts, and business insights to global leadership and investors. Act as a regional thought leader, representing the business in media, industry forums, and executive summits.

Ensure compliance with all legal, governance, and reporting standards across operating markets.

Candidate Requirements:

1214 years of progressive experience in business leadership roles, preferably within FMCG, Retail, or D2C brands.

Demonstrated track record of P&L ownership and scaling a business in the Middle East or similar emerging markets.

Strong background in growth marketing, performance channels, and consumer acquisition.

Experience leading high-growth business units or startup ventures, ideally within a PE/VC backed environment.

Experience in growth leadership roles with direct accountability for acquisition metrics will be highly valued.

Deep understanding of market dynamics across GCC (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain).

Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with a founder-like, data-led mindset.

High cultural sensitivity and ability to operate across diverse, multicultural teams and markets.

Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or equivalent from a top-tier business school is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience launching or scaling D2C/omnichannel models in global markets.
