Regional Marketing Director
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially driven Regional Marketing Director to lead the company's marketing strategy and execution across multiple markets within the region.
The role will be responsible for developing and executing the regional marketing strategy, strengthening brand positioning, driving customer acquisition and retention, supporting revenue growth, identifying market expansion opportunities, and ensuring consistent brand execution across all markets.
The Regional Marketing Director will work closely with Senior Management, Country Managers, Sales, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Product, and other key functions to translate regional business objectives into measurable marketing and commercial results.
The role will also provide strategic direction to country-level marketing teams and ensure alignment, consistency, and best-practice sharing across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall regional marketing strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
- Develop annual and multi-year regional marketing plans covering objectives, initiatives, KPIs, budgets, timelines, and market priorities.
- Translate the company's overall business strategy into actionable marketing strategies across individual countries and markets.
- Establish regional marketing priorities while allowing for appropriate local market adaptation.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities across the region.
- Drive marketing transformation and continuously improve marketing effectiveness across all markets.
- Establish regional marketing standards, frameworks, processes, and best practices.
- Provide strategic direction and support to country marketing teams.
2. Regional Market Expansion & Growth
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion, geographic growth, new customer segments, products, and services.
- Conduct market attractiveness assessments and recommend market entry or expansion strategies.
- Develop regional growth initiatives to increase market share, brand presence, customer acquisition, and revenue.
- Identify gaps between markets and leverage successful practices from high-performing countries.
- Support business cases for entering new markets and launching new products or services.
- Monitor regional market performance and recommend corrective actions and growth initiatives.
3. Brand Strategy & Regional Brand Management
- Develop and maintain the company's regional brand strategy, positioning, architecture, and value proposition.
- Ensure consistent brand identity and communication across all countries and customer touchpoints.
- Establish regional brand guidelines and governance.
- Monitor brand awareness, perception, equity, and customer sentiment across markets.
- Lead regional brand-building initiatives and integrated campaigns.
- Ensure local marketing teams maintain consistency with the regional brand strategy while adapting communication to local market requirements.
4. Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition
- Lead the regional digital marketing strategy across all markets.
- Oversee regional performance marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, CRM, email marketing, websites, and digital platforms.
- Develop data-driven customer acquisition and conversion strategies.
- Establish regional digital marketing standards, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
- Monitor customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, engagement, and marketing ROI.
- Identify opportunities to scale successful digital initiatives across multiple markets.
- Ensure effective utilization of digital channels to generate leads, sales, engagement, and customer loyalty.
5. Go-to-Market & Product Marketing
- Lead regional Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new products, services, markets, and customer segments.
- Develop regional launch frameworks covering positioning, segmentation, pricing recommendations, communication, channels, and activation plans.
- Work closely with Product, Sales, Operations, and Country teams to ensure successful market launches.
- Define target customer segments and develop market-specific value propositions.
- Monitor post-launch performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure successful replication and localization of high-performing products and campaigns across markets.
6. Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Lead regional market research and competitive intelligence initiatives.
- Monitor:

- Market opportunities and threats
- Regulatory and industry developments
- Develop regular regional market intelligence reports and strategic recommendations for Senior Management.

7. Customer Growth, CRM & Experience
- Develop regional strategies to improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention, frequency, and lifetime value.
- Lead regional CRM and customer loyalty initiatives.
- Develop customer segmentation frameworks and targeted communication strategies.
- Use customer data and insights to identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and retention.
- Monitor customer experience and satisfaction across markets.
- Translate customer insights into actionable marketing and business improvements.
8. Regional Campaigns, Activations & Communications
- Plan and oversee integrated regional marketing campaigns across:
- ATL
- BTL
- Digital
- PR
- Events
- Activations
- Sponsorships
- Influencer Marketing
- Partnerships
- Develop regional campaign objectives, target audiences, key messages, budgets, and KPIs.
- Ensure campaigns are consistently executed across markets while allowing for local market relevance.
- Monitor campaign performance and evaluate ROI.
- Identify innovative marketing channels, partnerships, and communication opportunities to increase regional reach and engagement.
9. Commercial & Sales Alignment
- Work closely with Regional and Country Sales leadership to align marketing strategies with commercial objectives.
- Develop marketing initiatives that generate qualified leads and commercial opportunities.
- Support sales teams with market intelligence, customer insights, competitive information, and marketing materials.
- Analyze the complete customer funnel from awareness through acquisition, conversion, retention, and loyalty.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and commercial efficiency.
- Support strategic customer development and regional business growth initiatives.
10. Regional Partnerships & Business Development
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that support regional growth, customer acquisition, brand awareness, and market expansion.
- Build relationships with regional partners, agencies, media organizations, platforms, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Evaluate co-branding, sponsorship, distribution, and strategic collaboration opportunities.
- Support commercial negotiations where required.
- Develop scalable partnership models that can be implemented across multiple markets.
11. Budget & Financial Management
- Develop and manage the annual regional marketing budget.
- Allocate marketing resources based on market priorities, growth opportunities, and expected ROI.
- Monitor regional marketing spending against approved budgets.
- Evaluate the financial impact and ROI of marketing initiatives.
- Optimize marketing investments across markets based on performance.
- Work closely with Finance and Country Management to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and budget control.
12. Regional Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and develop regional marketing teams and country-level marketing leaders.
- Establish clear objectives, KPIs, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Build a high-performing, collaborative, and commercially focused regional marketing organization.
- Coach and develop marketing leaders across different markets.
- Promote knowledge sharing, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear governance and reporting structures between regional and country marketing teams.
13. Agency & Vendor Management
- Oversee relationships with regional and local creative, media, digital, PR, research, production, events, and marketing agencies.
- Lead regional agency selection, briefing, evaluation, and performance management.
- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure efficient utilization of external partners.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate agency relationships and optimize regional marketing costs.
- Ensure agencies deliver against agreed objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
14. Performance Management & Reporting
- Establish comprehensive regional marketing KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Monitor performance across countries and identify variations, opportunities, and underperforming markets.
- Prepare regular reports and strategic presentations for Senior Management.

- Establish regional marketing policies, processes, frameworks, and standards.
- Identify best practices from individual markets and scale successful initiatives across the region.
- Create regular forums for country marketing teams to share insights and performance.
- Ensure alignment between regional strategy and local market execution.
- Drive consistency in reporting, measurement, campaign evaluation, and marketing governance across countries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in Marketing, Commercial, Brand Management, Sales, Business Development, or related functions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably with regional or multi-market responsibility.
- Proven experience developing and executing regional marketing strategies across multiple countries or markets.
- Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, customer acquisition, market expansion, and commercial growth.
- Proven experience managing significant marketing budgets across multiple markets.
- Demonstrated experience leading multicultural and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and data-driven marketing.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in revenue growth, market share, customer acquisition, and brand performance.
- Strong strategic, analytical, commercial, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with senior executives and managing multiple stakeholders across different markets.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and the ability to adapt strategies to different countries and customer segments.
Location & Working Conditions
Location: Mohandseen, Giza, Egypt
Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
Regional Scope: The role will be responsible for overseeing marketing strategy and performance across multiple markets in the region, with travel required as necessary.
