We are seeking a dynamic leader to drive operations across Egypt and potentially other markets. This role is pivotal in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality apparel products aligned with company standards. The Regional Operations Director will manage factory performance, office operations, and a team of approximately 20 professionals. The position requires frequent travel within the region and occasional trips to the United States.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute global sourcing frameworks to achieve targets for volume, quality, cost, and completion of needs.
- Oversee office administration and budget control Develop and maintain strong collaboration with sourcing, planning, production, and quality assurance teams.
- Drive competitive pricing strategies and ensure clear communication of company standards.
- Maintain strict control over production processes while supervising factory activities
- Track political and cultural developments and assess their potential impact on business operations.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop regional teams.
- Travel regularly across Egypt and other markets, with 12 annual trips to the U.S. (up to 30% travel).
- Resolve quality and delivery issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in apparel manufacturing, including proven leadership in factory and office management.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region and internationally.
- Open to experienced expatriates with relevant industry expertise.
- Demonstrated success in managing diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
