Must Have
- - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is a strong advantage.
- - 7+ years of B2B sales experience in water treatment chemicals or specialty chemicals, preferably with direct exposure to desalination or industrial water management sectors.
- - Proven track record of working with government entities and navigating public procurement frameworks in the Middle East.
- - Fluent in Arabic and English language proficiency is required
- - Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and technical understanding of water chemistry and membrane treatment processes.
- - Experience in managing cross-cultural distributor networks and working independently in a regional setup.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Lead and expand the organization's footprint across Middle Eastern and North African markets within the desalination chemicals market.
- Develop and implement country-specific and account-specific sales strategies to capture market share in Thermal and RO Plants segments.
- Identify and foster partnerships with public and private procurement agencies, public utilities, and engineering consultants.
- Evaluate, appoint, and support distributors to ensure comprehensive market coverage and superior customer service.
- Provide technical support to customers and partners by offering datasheets, application insights, and product samples.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to align offerings with market-specific needs and performance criteria.
- Continuously monitor regional regulatory changes and tender opportunities to proactively shape bid strategies.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and contribute to regional budgeting and planning activities.
- Represent the organization in regional trade shows, desalination conferences, and industry forums to increase visibility and credibility.
